Lisa Ann Garvey Obituary Frankford DE Death: With deep sadness and heartfelt love, the family of Lisa Ann Garvey (née Williams) announces that she passed away peacefully at home in Frankford at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Lisa’s passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family, friends, coworkers, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born in 1962 in Baltimore to the late Edward Sr. and Anna Williams, Lisa was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She graduated high school in 1980 and went on to build a successful and respected career in banking, where she became a trusted source of knowledge and guidance to colleagues throughout the years.
In 1986, Lisa met the love of her life, Kevin Garvey, and the couple married on October 11, 1987. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family and love, welcoming daughters Julianna Rose and Jenna Ann-Marie. Lisa considered motherhood her greatest achievement and dedicated her life to nurturing, protecting, and supporting her family.
Beyond her role as a wife and mother, Lisa was a loving sister, aunt, and loyal friend whose compassion touched everyone she met. She also adored her beloved dogs, Jax and Hans, affectionately calling them “my boys.”
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Gathering at Ambrose Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at noon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Grass Roots Rescue in Lisa’s memory.
Lisa Garvey’s legacy of love, patience, and selflessness will forever live on in the hearts of those she cherished.
